Here are 5 simple steps to being healthy this year. Start off with 1. & don’t move on until you’ve successfully committed to it..& so on too much change too fast often leads to defeat
1. Drink water (at least 8 glasses per day. I strive for 1/2 my weight in oz as per my nutritionist)I know it’s hard; I add some fresh lemon juice to mine..
2. Add 5 servings of fresh fruits & fresh or frozen veggies each day.. I make homemade smoothies, fresh soups loaded w/ veggies, set out veggie & fruit tray on the counter & make my dinner plate 1/2 veggies (watch for hidden calories in dips & premade smoothies)
3. Ditch sugar!!! sugar is good for no one..
4. Ditch all processed food..it’s not real food & does little to nothing for you but make you sick
5. Move your body! Walk, run, dance, jump rope, swim ..something.. Find what you like. Don’t go for the latest craze do what you enjoy.. Start off small & build up..
