Home Cooking Made Simple

A thought

May 6, 2009 By Kristie

6 May

We’ve been dealing with one issue after another for 10 years now. When one hits, we brace ourselves waiting for the storn to pass. It occured to me today .. what if we didn’t just brace ourselves and wait it out hoping to survive. What if we learned to catch the wave and ride it. I have never surfed before but it seems like a heck of alot more fun then the fetal position.. It has been in the greatest storms of my life that I have grown into someone of substance. Character, patience, determination and hope came from some dark storms..
It’s been raining for 6 days now.. My garden seeds weren’t even peeking through the soil yet..today they were 4 -6 inches high already.. Storms can be quite destructive and some bring some much needed life.
