BBQ Pork

I do this with country style ribs or a pork roast (like a pork butt)
Rub the meat with the rub below or your favorite rub. Brown the ribs in a frying pan. Then place in a baking dish & cover with BBQ sauce. Cover with a lid or foil & bake slow & low…285-300 until they fall apart. The length of time depends on the amount of meat you have. Roasts take the longest & I’d do them all day for larger ones like over 6 pounds.. Country style ribs I’d do about 4 hours or so…
For my BBQ sauce I use organic ketchup, molasses, maple syrup, some cayenne (optional) a little vinegar …. or you can buy BBQ sauce… If you are doing baby backs I like to season them with a dry rub: salt , pepper, onion powder, garlic powder & cayenne then bake them on low for a few hours then add the BBQ sauce 1/2 way through the cooking process
