This is the first inspiration to hit. A counter full of freshly picked tomatoes…red ones & yellow ones. I have tried a garden before but this is my year.
I started with 4 garden tomatoes (big ones) diced
1 handful of fresh basil chopped
1 T dried oregano
1 large garlic clove minced
salt & pepper to taste and 1/2 cup olive oil
Toss all together & serve on chicken, burgers or perhaps try this:
8 slices of rustic Italian bread browned in a little olive oil in a fry pan
