A ministry of “taking back the family table” was born 8+ years ago. I was really impressed with how VERY important the family table truly was. Cooking seemed to be a lost art. We all eat. It’s not something we can do without.. I was asked by my church, at the time, if I would be willing to offer cooking classes to the community. The response was HUGE! And boy did we have fun. We shared & laughed & even cooked.. and then we ate & laughed and shared some more. The cooking classes serve many purposes: building a community, feeding our families, making memories and yes learning to cook new meals & share ideas.. Everything I teach is simple, yet flavorful, always completely homemade & hands on.
