Deep Dish Pizza

August 25, 2014 By Kristie

25 Aug

We have pizza almost every weekend. Traditionally it has been thin crust well.. I decided to change things up a bit (cuz I am crazy like that) They loved it! 1 1/3 c warm water, 1 T dry yeast, 1 tsp sugar or honey (allow the yeast to activate) Add in 3 – 3 1/2 cups of flour, 2 T olive oil, 1 T salt. Mix together until smooth. Cover & allow to rise 1 hr. This made the 2 pizzas pictured. I divided the dough & spread them out onto well-oiled deep dish pans (I love cast iron for this) Topped with sauce & then toppings & then mozzarella. Baked at 400 until golden brown002002
