I love gyros.. truly love them…so this week I have come up with a healthy friendlier gyro
1 pound ground turkey ( you can do this with ground lamb too), 1 tsp marjarom, 1 tsp oregano, 1 minced garlic clove, a few mint leaves chopped, 1 small onion minced & salt & pepper…Mix together & make into patties & grill…
Place on a soft tortilla or flatbread (used organic), shredded lettuce, slice tomatoes, shredded onion & cucumber sauce ( 16 oz greek yogurt, 2 T fresh lemon juice, 1/2 shredded peeled cucumber & salt & pepper)
