I really miss my Nanny, but making her vegetable soup, eating it in one of her bowls at her kitchen table makes the memories sweet! 1pound of lean ground beef, 1 quart of water, 1 T granulated garlic, 1 T onion salt, 2 cups beef broth, 2 cups tomato sauce, 1 16oz bag of frozen mixed vegetables, 3 potatoes peeled & diced. First crumble your raw beef into the water in your soup pot. Cook beef until no longer pink then add all remaining ingredients. Cover & simmer on med low 45 min & adjust seasonings with salt & pepper.
