1 stick butter (salted)
4 cups sliced & peeled peaches
1 1/2 sugar divided in half (3/4 cup each)
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1 T baking powder
Melt butter & pour into a baking dish (11×7 works or an oval baker). Next put peaches & 3/4 cup sugar in a pot & stir until boils start to form. While the peaches are cooking Mix flour, milk, powder & remaining sugar & pour in the baking dish with the butter but do not stir. When the peaches are done add them to the baking dish over the batter but do not stir together. Bake 375 40-45 minutes
