You don’t taste squash just amazing soft warm dinner rolls
1 T dry yeast dissolved in 1/4 cup warm water & 1 tsp honey
Meanwhile cook (cubed & peeled) butternut squash in water until soft then drain & mash you’ll need 1 cup mashed squash
Take the mashed squash add 1/2 cup sugar, 1 cup warm milk, 3 T soft butter & 1 tsp salt. Then add the yeast mixture & mix. Stir in approx 4 1/2 – 5 cups bread flour or occident flour until it’s a smooth soft dough. Cover in a bowl & allow to rise 1 hour. Then shape into rolls & place in a greased dish & rise again 1 hour Bake 350 until golden
