Steak Slaw Stir Fry (aka Uber crack slaw)

December 13, 2014 By Kristie

We LOVE this recipe! I have adapted  a recipe I saw on pinterest to fit our likes. 1 1/2 pounds thinly sliced steak (flank or sirloin work good), 1 T fresh ginger (I grate it), 4 minced garlic cloves, 2 T olive oil, 1 small head of cabbage shredded, 1 large carrot cut into strips, 4 green onions thinly sliced, 1/4 c brags liquid aminos (or soy sauce), 2 T srirracha chili sauce, 2 T brown sugar, 1 T heaping corn starch. I put the garlic & ginger into the sliced beef & set aside. Meanwhile, I put the oil into a large frying pan & fry the cabbage with the carrots until 1/2 way cooked & remove. Then I fry the beef, when the beef is no longer pink I add the veggies back. I mix the remaining ingredients in a bowl & stir & then pour it over the meat & veggies & cook for a few minutes. Serve over steamed rice. Top with toasted sesame seeds if you like004
