Sweet & Savory Turnovers

Sweet Turnovers: Take puff pastry sheets (found in the freezer section), thaw in refrig., roll out & cut into squares & fill with your favorite fruit filling: sliced peaches & some sugar, thinly diced apples & cinnamon, nutella & strawberries, bluberry pie filling use your imagination. Fold over in a diagonal & seal edges with some egg. Don’t over fill or they will ooze out. Top with some sugar. Bake on a cookie sheet at 375 until golden brown.. You can made thess small or big it’s up to you
Savory Turnovers: Ground beef fried with diced potatoes & onion, Ham & cheese, Diced cooked chicken, cheddar & cooked broccoli….Cut & fill & bake as above (you want your ingredient cooked ahead of time in the savory ones)
