4 T butter, ½ cup diced onion, 1 T sugar, 2- 28 ozcans diced tomatoes with oregano & spices, 1 cup pepper jack & 1 cup American cheese. Sautee onions in butter, add sugar & tomatoes. Cover & simmer for 20 minutes. Puree the soup & add cheeses. Simmer 5-10 min.
