Yeast Dinner Rolls

November 5, 2010 By Kristie

5 Nov

1 T yeast (dry yeast 1 packet)
1 cup warm water
1 egg
1/4 cup sugar or honey
1/4 cup butter (very soft)
3 – 3 1/2 cup flour (I used unbleached occident flour)
1 tsp salt
Dissolve yeast in the warm water add a pinch of the sugar set for 5 minutes. Then add the egg & sugar, 1/2 of the flour & butter & beat together. Then add remaining flour & salt & hand mix until smooth and elastic. You may need a little extra flour. Then you shape into you rolls & allow to rise for 45 minutes -1 hour & bake 350 until golden brown. Make about 16 rolls. I tripled this & I got 48 rolls… Sooooooooooo good & easy!
